our sires

We breed for genetics that target multiple EPDs that are value based. While calving ease, growth and carcass traits are obvious traits that add value, we also focus heavily on traits like docility, mothering ability, teat and udder quality, feed efficiency and structure. We truly believe our balanced-trait bulls offer our customers the best opportunity to be profitable at the ranch level, while helping build demand for beef at the consumer level.

We provide our customers performance records and genomic testing, so they can safely and confidently select the best genetics for their programs.

With our experience in both the seedstock and commercial sides of the business, we are positioned to help our customers find the best bull for their operations, so they can grow their business to its fullest potential.

Cow 7094 e.JPG

This cow is everything we hoped for when we flushed our 6017 Morgan’s Direction daughter to Payweight 1682.  When they say a picture is worth a thousand words they aren’t kidding.  This cow looks great from any angle.  Big ribbed and as perfect uddered as they come, she sports a balanced set of EPDs.  Even better she knows how to raise a big calf.

Cow 6254 a.JPG

This daughter of Reserve is a calving ease maternally efficient machine. Moderate and big middled, she also traces back to our “6017” Morgans Direction donor and carries the same superb udder quality.

Cow 7411.JPG

18989682  Nemaha Miss 7411-1682

A full ET sister to the 7410 cow that carries some added frame.  Has a 368 day calving interval on 6 calves and a 104 nursing ratio.  The growth EPD’s on these full sisters doesn’t do justice to the performance and maternal value they add.

Another Payweight daughter that flat produces pounds.  She carries that big middle and great udder that Payweight daughters are known for while maintaining a 369 day calving interval on her first 6 calves and a 105 nursing ratio.

Cow 7102.JPG

7102 is one of the most maternally efficient, high production cows in our herd.  As of this writing she has a calving interval of 369 days and a weaning ratio of 102 on 6 calves.  She carries a balanced set of production EPDs from birthweight to end product merit that typifies the kind of profit driven genetics that commercial producers demand.
